Alan popped over to France this week to help promote the show in France on 25th September in aid of the horse sanctuary les Crinières de l’Yser of Buysscheure and to see for himself the good work that the sanctuary are doing to save old and sick horses, that nobody wants, from the slaughterhouse and in some cases the table. He was made very welcome by everyone and had a great time getting to know the horses and ponies that owe their lives to the sanctuary and all the people that give their time, most of them volunteers, to help.
Alan can be seen in the photo with Texas who is unfortunately blind but well loved and looked after as are all twenty of the horses at the sanctuary. Alan is now looking forward to seeing many people at the concert in aid of this great cause at the Salle La Poudrier, Leffrinckoucke, Dunkerque, France on 25th September 2010. For ticket information go to Tour page. Proceeds go to a great cause and the entertainment is pretty good as well.
On the day the show was excellent and so were the audience with the venue virtually sold out so the horses won’t starve this winter. The guys as usual spent as much time signing autographs after the show as they did on stage during the concert. I’m sure you would all congratulate them on a job well done.
