Some of you will already know that John suffered a heart attack this week and had to undergo surgery. Luckily he came through it OK and is now resting in hospital. It is likely he will have to have some more treatment in the weeks to come but the prognosis is good and he should be able to continue to play in a few months time. In the meantime the doctors have told John that he must rest completely until then, something, we all know, he will find very difficult to do. We will continue with the last concerts of the Age Tendre tour in France as we all know the show must go on and John would want us to do it. Luckily we have a holiday scheduled just after the end of the tour with no more concerts until April so hopefully John will be better by then and ready to join us again. For those who have already seen us on the UK tour you will appreciate that it would be impossible to play the rescheduled UK theatre dates without John so if he is not fully recovered we will have no choice but to rescheduled once again but that’s, as we say, Rock’n Roll. Thanks to everyone who has sent their love to John for a quick recovery, it seems to be working. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
